Donald Trump’s Pennsylvania Rally: Latest Developments from Hollywood Life

Donald Trump left Trump Tower to meet with New York Attorney General Letitia James for a civil investigation on August 10, 2022 in New York City. As he addressed a large crowd of supporters, gunshots were heard and Trump was seen with blood running down the right side of his face as the Secret Service rushed him off the stage.

At a Republican rally in Butler later that day, loud popping sounds were heard and Trump was again rushed to safety with blood visible on his face. At the time of publication, it’s still unclear what struck Trump in the face, although a representative for Trump confirmed that he was “fine.” The statement also thanked law enforcement and first responders for their quick action and mentioned that Trump was being checked out at a local medical facility.

Butler County district attorney Richard Goldinger stated that Trump was grazed by gunfire, but is safe. It was reported that an audience member was killed, and the shooter is dead.

Governor Josh Shapiro and other well-known names condemned the violence, stressing that it had no place in Pennsylvania or the United States. Shapiro also expressed gratitude for the law enforcement response.

The incident at the Trump rally resulted in the death of the shooter and one bystander in Butler County. The targeted violence against a political party or leader was strongly condemned and deemed unacceptable.
