Earlier this week, a law enforcement source revealed that an investigation into a case is nearing its conclusion, and they believe that multiple people could be charged. The U.S. Attorney’s Office had no comment in response to the report. Perry died on October 28, 2023, at the age of 54. His cause of death was ruled accidental, attributed to the acute effects of ketamine after undergoing ketamine infusion therapy.
His death investigation was closed at that time. However, earlier this year, the LAPD looked into the circumstances of Perry’s death. In 2022, Perry released his memoir, revealing that he ruptured his colon in 2019 after using OxyContin and underwent a seven-hour surgery, ultimately ending up in a two-week coma. He expressed his struggles and fears in the book, acknowledging his own responsibility for his condition.
Perry also shared that he had spent extensive time in a mental institution and received therapy twice a week for thirty years due to his history of drug abuse. Despite the challenges, he sought to help others grappling with addiction by sharing his story.
