Megan Thee Stallion performed at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California on June 21, 2024, during the Hot Girl Summer Tour. She collaborated with Nicki Minaj on the song “Hot Girl Summer” in 2019.
Although the song does not directly reference Minaj, there is speculation that Megan’s lyrics allude to the other rapper. This assumption arises after Minaj released the diss track “Big Foot” in January, following a conflict between the two rappers.
Minaj shared the lyrics on X and called out Megan, accusing her of lying about certain events, including being shot in the foot by Tory Lanez in July 2020. Despite the ongoing feud, Megan has been focusing on self-reflection and taking steps to feel comfortable within herself.
She expressed feeling like she is in a fresh space and not worrying about many things. Megan stated, “I think I’ve just gone through so much and I’m at a point where I don’t care about a lot of stuff…I’m like, ‘OK, at this point, girl, what’s the worst thing that can happen?” The resolution of this situation remains to be seen.
