The lawsuit against Diddy, obtained on Wednesday, July 3, accused him of misconduct towards a model named English. It was alleged that Combs had asked her partner and another model to perform oral sex on him in exchange for a modeling gig for Sean John. It was claimed that when they refused, English was offered another chance if she worked as a “go-go dancer” at Combs’ party in 2004, and was later expected to have sex with guests, including a jeweler named Jacob Arabov.
Further claims of forced sexual intercourse with Arabov and payment from Combs followed. In response to the lawsuit, Combs’ lawyer denied the claims, stating that Mr. Combs had never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone and expressed confidence in prevailing against these and other “baseless” claims in court. Diddy had a controversial year, including a lawsuit for sexual and physical abuse by his ex at the end of 2023, which was settled quickly.
By early 2024, other similar accusations had surfaced against him, prompting a public apology from the record producer.
