The athlete won the award after performing a rendition of Whitesnake’s hit single “Here I Go Again” in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Travis gave his performance everything he had, and the crowd loved his enthusiasm.
This wasn’t the first time fans had heard Travis sing, as he belted out a few lyrics of “Viva Las Vegas” after winning the 2024 Super Bowl with his Chiefs teammates in February. The moment was captured by cameras and went viral on social media.
However, Taylor, a professional singer, was unable to fly back to the U.S. to see her boyfriend receive the award as she was on her international *Eras Tour*. The couple met just months after the Grammy Award winner embarked on the U.S. leg of her tour in mid-2023.
Travis noted that he developed feelings for Taylor after witnessing “how genuine she is around friends [and] family.” He was impressed by her willingness to be part of his family and friends’ experiences. Although he wants to keep things private about their relationship, Travis also expressed that he doesn’t want to hide anything about their love.
He expressed pride and admiration for Taylor, saying, “That’s my girl. That’s my lady.” He mentioned that he doesn’t want to keep their relationship under wraps and that he is not trying to hide anything from the public eye.
