Princess Charlotte of Wales was seen court-side of Centre Court during the men’s final on day fourteen of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on July 14, 2024, in London, England. She appeared relaxed and smiled while dressed smartly in a suit and shirt, complete with a friendship bracelet.
King Charles, 75, was spotted wearing a string bracelet on his right wrist as he waved after departing the State Opening of Parliament with Queen Consort Camilla, 77, on July 17. The red and yellow twisted strand accessory bore resemblance to the ones worn by his granddaughter at Wimbledon.
His bracelet first became visible during his visit to Wales on July 11 to commemorate the Welsh Parliament’s 25th anniversary of devolution from the U.K. The monarch initially wore the accessory to church in January 2023 and sported it again upon returning to public-facing work in late April following an announcement of his cancer diagnosis in February.
Friendship bracelets have gained popularity lately, coinciding with Taylor Swift’s global Eras Tour, which was attended by the king and his two eldest kids, George and Charlotte, in London on June 21 for his 42nd birthday.
