Simone Biles, the most decorated U.S. gymnast in Olympic history, was awarded a goat charm on her necklace during the Artistic Gymnastics Women’s All-Around Final medal ceremony at the Olympic Games Paris 2024. She proudly displayed the new jewelry given to her by her teammate, expressing her anticipation of the reaction it would garner. In a press conference after her victory, Biles stated, “And the haters hate it, so I love that even more, and it’s just a special part of me that I have here.” She also emphasized that she doesn’t keep count or stats of her accomplishments. Biles’ teammate, the 2020 Olympic all-around champion, earned a bronze medal with a score of 56.465.
