The 36-year-old actor, Zac Efron, took to his Instagram Stories on Sunday, August 4, to share a workout photo of himself, showing fans that he’s recovering. Reports stated that Zac was found inside a pool by two workers and was pulled out. Although the cause of the incident is still unknown, he was discharged from the hospital hours later. In 2013, Zac suffered a jaw injury after slipping and falling at home, resulting in his mouth being wired shut.
He addressed rumors of plastic surgery following the accident as “funny,” mentioning in a 2022 interview that he almost died. Zac also talked about his facial changes and the need for physical therapy to recover, attributing the differences in his appearance to the enlargement of his masseter muscles. He stated that he doesn’t let others’ opinions affect his work. In addition to his recent health incident, Zac has been actively supporting Team USA at the Olympics.
