On April 23, 2008, Kate Gosselin and her children, known from the show “Jon + Kate Plus 8,” attended the Discovery Upfront event at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City. Collin, one of the children from the show, reflected on a challenging time in his life, describing it as the most scared he had ever been due to behavioral issues he was experiencing at home.
He shared that his family was constantly under scrutiny, particularly his mother as a single parent managing eight children after her divorce. Collin believes he was sent away to protect his mother’s reputation.
Despite the hardships, Collin is maintaining contact with his father and sister, Hannah. He expressed hope of reconciling with his other siblings in the future, emphasizing his love for them and asserting that he would never harm their reputation in the media.
Collin also described his belief that his mother is influencing the negative opinions of him in the media, but he expressed optimism about having a good relationship with her and his siblings if they were to know each other today.
