Recently, he shared this insight into his family’s background, as it has been four years since his father’s passing in 2020, just before the one-year anniversary of his album “Hotel Diablo.” In a heartfelt Instagram post, he expressed the profound pain of losing his father, and thanked his fans for their support.
Acknowledging a perceived family curse, he shared his belief that his birthdate (the 22nd) was significant in breaking this curse. Despite these challenges, Machine Gun Kelly has been able to channel his emotions and personal stories through his music, providing an outlet for expression.
