On September 10, 2021, during the 78th Venice International Film Festival, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez attended the red carpet of the movie “The Last Duel” in Venice, Italy. Following this, Jennifer Lopez posted quotes reflecting her emotions over the past few months, including the sale of their marital home and not celebrating their second wedding anniversary together. Subsequently, on August 20, she filed for divorce in the Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.
In the same post, she requested to revert to her maiden name and received an outpouring of support from the comment section. Several comments expressed support and love for Jennifer, with one user commenting on her “unbothered queen” demeanor and another stating that everything is unfolding in its divine order and looking forward to seeing her back on stage. Amidst the public attention Jennifer receives, it was noted that Ben Affleck is more of an introvert.
It was also revealed that Ben had experienced “mood swings” which he did not realize would affect those around him.
