However, during the “After the Final Rose” segment, she revealed that Devin had become distant after the show ended, catching her by surprise. Devin acknowledged on the live finale that he had fallen short of expectations in the real world, realizing that he was unable to meet her needs and contribute to her happiness as he had hoped. This realization was painful for him.
