Former first lady Melania Trump arrived on the fourth day of the Republican National Convention at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 18, 2024. Delegates, politicians, and the Republican faithful gathered for the annual convention, culminating in former President Donald Trump accepting his party’s presidential nomination.
The RNC took place from July 15-18. In promotional materials, Skyhorse Publishing described Melania’s upcoming memoir as an “intimate portrait of a woman who has lived an extraordinary life.” The book is expected to include “stories and images never before shared with the public,” according to the publisher.
Melania’s office announced last month that her memoir, *Melania*, would be released in the fall, describing it as “a powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has carved her own path, overcome adversity, and defined personal excellence.”
According to the publisher, the book will encompass Melania’s reflections on her childhood in Slovenia, a “chance encounter” with her husband that “forever changed the course of her life,” and “behind-the-scenes” stories from her time in the White House during Trump’s controversial presidency. The memoir offers an unprecedented look into her time as a First Lady born outside the United States, showcasing her resilience and independence.
The publisher’s site revealed that the book is set for release in October. In a blurb for the book, Donald Trump expressed, “Melania is my rock and foundation, and I wouldn’t be the man I am today without her by my side.”
