Chad McQueen’s family confirmed his passing in a statement shared to Chad’s official social media account. The family expressed their sorrow and announced the loss of their father in the heartfelt post.
They highlighted his role as a loving father and his unwavering commitment to their mother, which was a testament to a life filled with love and dedication. The late Los Angeles native began his career in Hollywood as an actor, with his breakout role as Dutch in the 1984 film *The Karate Kid* and its sequel, *The Karate Kid: Part II*.
Following his acting career, Chad ventured into producing. In addition to his involvement in the entertainment industry, he was deeply passionate about racing.
His interest in racing began at a young age, as he started dirt bike racing at the age of 9 and achieved success by winning at the World Mini Grand Prix a few years later. He went on to compete in various racing disciplines, from Motocross to Baja 1000.
As his racing career progressed, Chad established his own company, McQueen Racing, LLC.
