She expressed the internal struggle of needing to put her protection back on and feeling a sense of confusion and vulnerability about the work she had done. While she didn’t specify the specific scenes that made her uncomfortable, she acknowledged the support she received from the film’s writer and director, Halina Reijn.
Nicole described how Halina’s presence on set provided a sense of safety and comfort, allowing for open and honest discussions. She highlighted the strength of their bond, comparing it to the closeness of talking to a sister or best friend.
Nicole also praised Halina’s maternal instincts and the protective environment she created for the cast, particularly for herself.
