PlayStation to end new game ‘Concord’

During the Chinajoy games fair in Shanghai, China, a cosplayer was spotted playing games at the PlayStation game booth on July 26, 2024. The developers expressed gratitude for the strong support and passionate community that has grown around the game, acknowledging the impact it has had. However, they also recognized that certain aspects of the game and its initial launch did not resonate as intended with players.

As a result, the developers have announced the decision to take the game offline from September 6, 2024, in order to explore options and improvements that can better meet the needs and expectations of their players. Following its launch on August 23, the game only saw a peak of 697 active players. Despite an initial surge in activity, the online engagement sharply declined soon after.

The developers expressed their enthusiasm and drive to create something new, indicating a willingness to adapt and improve in response to player feedback.
