Ice Spice visited the Empire State Building in New York City on July 25, 2024. Her longtime collaborator RIOTUSA largely handled the production of her 23-minute album, Y2K!, which includes four tracks previously released as singles and 15 minutes of new music.
Despite its brevity, the album makes a virtue out of its short length. The Bronx-born rapper and Gen-Z phenomenon, Ice Spice, has been nominated for four Grammy Awards, won a VMA, and in 2023, became the first rapper with four songs to peak in the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100.
She has upcoming performances in New York City on August 6 and 7, Los Angeles on August 19, and concludes her North American tour on August 31 in Miami. In a message to the haters, Ice Spice said, “I won, bro.”
She talks about her debut album, famous friends, and proving she’s more than just a viral sensation. Her recent performances at various European festivals have been in support of her new album, keeping the momentum going for her summer tour.
