After a period of uncertainty about his identity, he revealed that his upcoming album, featuring 12 songs, is a ‘gift.’ In a statement, he expressed gratitude for his friends and family, acknowledging their support during challenging times.
He credited them for giving him the strength to create the album, stating, “Life can be brutal, but having a small group of people you deeply trust to walk you through makes it so much better. I have no idea how I would have made it through the last couple of years, let alone made an album, without you.” Adding to the anticipation, Shawn announced the release of the first two songs from the album, “Why Why Why” and “Isn’t That Enough,” on his birthday, August 8.
He teased the tracks on his social media platforms, expressing his hope that his fans would love the album as much as he does. He emphasized his desire for the music to evoke warmth and a sense of closeness to the earth for his listeners.
